our journey begins
My earliest memory is walking through my father’s tannery, hand in hand, watching hides transform into heritage leather. I grew up in the world of leather — my grandfather was a tanner, my father Mr. Noorul Hasan ran F W Fashion Craft, supplying leather bags and wallets to global markets. We were manufacturers — quietly crafting beauty behind the curtain.
But something never felt right.
I saw luxury goods we made being sold at unbelievable markups. I saw brands profiting while artisans went unseen. I experienced unethical practices, pricing that excluded everyday people, and a system that offered no space to innovate. So I created VILL OKSE — a brand built to tell the real story.
"Vill" stands for village — people from
different paths coming together. "Okse" stands for ox — symbol of strength, tradition, and the leather trade.
